CRA is searching for dedicated, self-motivated, passionate people with lived experience to join our team and help us achieve our mission to serve anyone seeking recovery from substance use concerns, with or without mental health complications, by creating safe and healthy recovery friendly communities in northern Lower Michigan.

Current Opening: 

Director of Peer Support Services

Candidates should have already completed a Peer Recovery Coach training program (CCAR, MDHHS, etc.). Ideal candidate will have at least 3+ years of professional coaching experience. 

Candidates should have 1+ years of management experience; 2+ years preferred.

This is a full time, salaried position, based at the Center in Petoskey, Michigan. Access to reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license are required. Normal hours are Monday through Friday with periodic nights or weekends as needed for special events. 

This position will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the recovery coaching team and Recovery Center, ensure the delivery of high-quality support services, and foster a collaborative and empowering environment for both staff and clients.

FAQs

Salaried positions work 40 hour weeks here! Most of the hours are the traditional 9 – 5 hours. There will also be periodic weekend and evening hours, and we offer flexibility for things like appointments.  Work-Life balance is important to us at CRA, so we work as a team to coordinate our schedules. 

All positions will be based in the Petoskey office/Center, except when traveling for programs, meetings, etc. 

We do not allow staff to transport clients.

At this time, all positions are office based. We do accept applicants outside of our area who are willing to relocate. Remote work is not available at this time.
